LSR490 is a master alloy for soldering of 375-585-750‰ (9-14-18 Kt) red gold jewelry.
LSR490 is suitable for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as sheet and wire.
From the thermal point of view, 750‰ red gold made using LSR490 can be considered as an alloy with medium grade of solderability.
The absence of zinc in the formulation avoids evaporation problems.
